Weiss Schwarz Locations
Mapping out the locations of shops that sell Weiß Schwarz
It was a bit hard to refer to the official Weiss Schwarz shops list and keep looking up addresses to see how close they were. As such, I wrote a Google Apps Script to collect the data into a Google Sheet and then imported that into Google My Maps. I've embedded the result of that below.
I don't think that the list is completely accurate so maybe take a look at the street view before deciding to go to any of the stores. For example, some appear to be residential addresses, likely tied to online-only distributors. I also don't think that Bushiroad is updating this list very often so it may be out of date. I will re-run the script every once in a while in order to update the map.
In addition, if you run into somewhere that isn't on the map below, feel free to submit it in the Weiss Schwarz Map Location Submission form and I'll update the underlying map data to show user submissions as well. Keep in mind you should do your due diligence before deciding to visit any place on the map, especially user-submitted ones. I will try to filter out any submissions that are obviously dubious as well.
You can also use the form to ask to remove a location (either from the WS Official Data or User Submissions). I've manually removed a few that aren't actually open in my local area. Since I'd like for this map to be places you can actually visit, having closed stores on the list doesn't make much sense to me.
On the embedded map, you can click on the top left of the title bar to open the side bar and show or hide user-submitted pins (once they actually exist haha)
You can also check out the non-embedded version of the map here.
January 06, 2025 Update
I've updated the map to use BushiNavi Sanctioned Store List instead of the official WS Shops list. This is easier for me since I can get the Japanese shop info I was missing before and also these shops should be more active if they are holding events. Using this method, I found roughly 1600 stores that should appear on the map now, but roughly half are inside Japan itself. A further ~240 aren't able to be mapped for some reason so those don't show up on the map. As always, I'd recommend calling ahead if you want to be really sure that a retailer sells weiss before you head in.
